Wymondham Waxwings

Not seen by me but announced on the Rare Bird Advisory (RBA) service this afternoon two waxwings at Wymondham Abbey. These very special winter visitors have been few and far between over the last couple of mild winters with single birds seen last year in Ber St and at the UEA and a small flock seen briefly on the Ketts Oak the year before. Update no further sightings on the 5th March so keep your eyes peeled.as per the picture above waxwings are attracted to red berries especially Rowan during the winter months so any trees or bushes with berries on them could be a target.
