40 Egyptians

At the North side of the Village beyond the fishing lake and nearly into Little Melton are a couple of quite productive fields for bird-watching over which I have previously seen Buzzards and Red Kite. Today the fields contained male Pheasants displaying and black-headed gulls as well as two Grey herons.  The most surprising  sighting was 40 Egyptian Geese which although a Norfolk specialty are not one I have seen local to Hethersett or in such numbers
